About the Poteet Strawberry Growers Association (PSGA)
Since the first official Poteet Strawberry Festival in 1948, the local growers have been cultivating the art of producing some of the finest strawberries in the United States. The local-grown strawberry is known for its amazing sweetness and you'll know the minute you bite into one!
Although the local growers have been a part of the Strawberry Festival since its formation. It was not until 2019 that we came together to form the Poteet Strawberry Growers Association. The primary objectives and purpose of the Growers Association is to advocate for the strawberry farms, growers, and businesses gathered in the purchasing, growing, marketing, and facilitating of strawberry production.
